Tin Assist's Local Journey to Make a Difference

Firefighters, policeman, nurses and other first responders deserve our appreciation. During the pandemic, our organization provided 20 snack baskets for nurse stations every week at two different hospitals, totaling 1500 baskets after a year and a half. Every May, we give recognition and provide cookies for first responders in Fayette county.

Our food pantry provides food for families and individuals in need. Open to the public Monday through Thursday, we serve the communities in Fayette and Coweta county, as well as the counties surrounding Metro-Atlanta. 

We want to show our love for the teachers in Coweta and Fayette county, so we provide biscuits on the first and last of school, as well as donuts during Teacher Appreciation Week. We provide for 1600+ teachers and staff between 15 different schools.

Our back to school drive every August also provides school supplies for over 100 students.

Every Christmas, our organization provides Christmas gifts and money for Christmas dinner for families in Coweta and Fayette county. 

On average, we get to provide a wonderful Christmas for 30 families each December.

Since the time we have been providing for a homeless mission in Atlanta, we have provided over 14,000 meals, 10,000 pairs of shoes, 10,000 pair of pants and shirts, and large quantities of hygiene products. In 30 years, our commitment has only grown, with a team from our organization helping out once a month. 

We provide financial assistance for several individuals and families in the surrounding areas. By covering electrical bills, grocery bills, and paying for living expenses, our organization exists to help people in any way necessary.
